All work at height should be properly planned in accordance with the risk assessment and method statement. Many ‘off the shelf’ courses do not take into consideration how to educate the user in the correct inspection and use of the equipment provided. HARNESS AND FALL PROTECTIONEQUIPMENT TRAINING DURATION: ½ Day TARGET GROUP: This theory course is intended for those employed to perform work tasks at height, where the employer has identified Personal Fall Protection Equipment as the appropriate control method. Course delegates will be provided with the information required of them to safely inspect and use the items of Personal Fall Protection Equipment provided to protect against the potential fall from height. PRACTICAL USE OF FALL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT DURATION: 1 Day TARGET GROUP: This course is intended for those requiring practical knowledge and experience in the use of the selected items of Personal Fall Protection Equipment, specific to their work tasks. The exact content of the session is flexible and will be tailored to suit the requirements of the employer and the work task/s that are to be performed.
