YOU MAY HAVE OPERATIVES THAT ARE LIKELY TO USE BOTH LOW LEVEL EQUIPMENT AND MOBILE TOWERS OVER 2.5MTRS IN HEIGHT. PASMA AND GENERATION TRAINING SERVICES ARE FULLY SUPPORTING THE CLIENT BY OFFERING A COMBINED COURSE TO THESE USERS.

Learning Objectives
How to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level access and mobile tower units without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others.
Combined Course Content
Current Legislation, Regulations and Guidance, PASMA Code of Practice, assembling, altering and dismantling, incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection and completion of Inspection Records; hazards.
Instructor delegate ratio - Maximum of 1:8.
Award
A PASMA Certificate and ID Card will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions at the level they attend the course which has a five year validity period.

Duration: One Day
Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in the erection, dismantling and use of mobile access towers.
Aims:The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary information to safely erect, use, inspect and dismantle aluminium or fibre glass mobile access towers.

Duration: Half Day
Target Group: Any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in working at heights, using low level access equipment.
Aims: The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary information in the safe use of low level prefabricated access units.
Objectives: At the end of the instruction the candidates will be competent to: Select, assemble, use, move, inspect and dismantle low level prefabricated access units.

Duration: Half Day
Target Group: Personnel who need to have an understanding of Work at Height.
Objectives: To enable an individual to effectively comply with duties under the Work at Height Regulations (2005).

(FOR MANAGER/SUPERVISOR) - Revised and Updated

Duration: One Day
Target Group: Managers and/or Supervisors who are responsible for employees who erect, alter, dismantle and inspect mobile access towers.
Aims: Candidates will have a clear understanding of; Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting Working at Height with mobile access towers. Know the two current approved methods of assembly. Understand that there are different types of towers on the market and the importance of the manufacturers instruction manuals. Understand that for all Work at Height activities rescue planning is needed before work starts.

Duration: Half Day
This is a new course, currently in development with the PASMA Training Committee. It is aimed at those employees who have a responsibility to inspect mobile access tower components to determine their fitness for use prior to issue and after return from rental or from use by others, and those responsible for the supervision/management of those employees.

Duration: One Day
Module 1:Chimney Scaffolds
Module 2: Cantilever Access Towers
Module 3: Aluminium Bridging Units, Linked Towers, Lightweight Stagings and Swimming Pool Bridges
Module 4: Access Towers with Walk through Frames, High Clearance Frames on Footways, Access Towers on Stairways

All of the PASMA Advanced Modules have been suspended until further notice. However, Generation can provide an In House Module to cover your specific requirements – please call for details. Those attending the In House Advanced Module must be a PASMA Standard Card Holder.
